With more than 60 car repair and tire shops across Denmark, the Super Dæk Service chain is one of the largest in the country. It is only right that the interior design matches the modern business and great ambitions. To achieve this, HOLMRIS B8 has delivered furniture to create a new interior design concept that will spread to Super Dæk Service’s many locations.
The emphasis has been on creating a red thread where the focus is to welcome customers and give the incentive to sit down while the employees have the option to step back and work undisturbed.
This tricky combination has been solved by creating a waiting area with a relaxed café atmosphere, a high reception counter that brings the customers at eye level with employees, and secluded work desks with acoustic screens for the employees who need a more distant work space.
Warm and welcoming atmosphere
In the waiting area, the warm atmosphere is brought to life with green plants, wooden slats, toned down colors like dusty blue and green as well as soft furniture with organic shapes – such as round café tables, a TWEET couch from HOLMRIS B8 and the About a Chair from Hay.
If the waiting time is spent on a laptop, the Time Out high table provides the perfect place for this purpose.
René K. Hansen, department manager at Super Dæk Service in Horsens, said:

So, we are very happy with the results – especially the high table is a hit among customers and it is nice for us to be able to welcome our customers as well as sit at our secluded work stations whenever we need to work undisturbed.”
Durability in focus
Even though the environment is very contemporary at Super Dæk Service, the essence of the chain’s business – cars – is highly prevalent: the reception is decorated with large acoustic pictures with wheel rim motives, a line of tires that give a sculptural impression, and durable surfaces and materials throughout the space.
