Attention to the detail
As you approach eastern Aarhus, a series of buildings of varying sizes appear. Together, they form the new headquarters for Danish fashion company Bestseller. Nestled between the office buildings, atrium courtyards, roof gardens and roof-top terraces provide life and air, creating a city within a city.
The headquarters houses approx. 820 employees, as well as showrooms, meeting rooms, a photo and film studio, canteen and common facilities for fashion shows and conferences. The style is uncompromising in every respect. Italian stone and large glass panels characterise the building’s exterior, while the interior is dominated by grey stone surfaces, broken by dark wood on the floors and stairs..
Stylish and customised interior design
The interiors were designed by Besteller’s own Corporate Identity department and HOLMRIS B8 supplied H4 desks, Capisco office chairs and Wastberg W127 desk lamps for all 820 workstations. In addition, HOLMRIS B8 has supplied three of Verpan’s sculptural cloverleaf sofas for the lounge area in the foyer.
Customised desks with a special feature
Since Bestseller works with clothing design and fashion, the décor and furniture were also specially selected to meet their requirements for beautiful design and high quality. For every workstation, they therefore chose HOLMRIS B8’s own H4 height-adjustable desk. Its slim lines and minimalist appearance are the perfect match for Denmark’s largest fashion company’s demands for timeless design and flexibility during their workday.
All H4 desks have been customised to Bestseller’s specifications with a hanger rack specially designed by the fashion company built into each desk. They also wanted the desks in a special colour – a warm shade of grey for both the frame and the worktop – which has subsequently become part of our standard product range.
The warm grey colour ties together Bestseller’s interior and exterior, helping to reinforce the company’s visual identity.
